Welcome!

Our group is the local Canadian Chapter of the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association, a non-profit  organisation devoted to preserving, studying, building, restoring, and using wooden and bark canoes. Members of this Chapter are from all over the country but predominantly located in Ontario.

Group events include paddling trips, museum tours, trade shows, workshop tours of builders and other informal gatherings. Ownership or usage of a wooden canoe isn't necessary. Anyone with an interest in these heritage craft are welcome to participate. Learn more on our Membership page.
