Northern Lakes Chapter Project - Restoring a 14ft Huron

An exciting opportunity has emerged for the Northern Lakes Chapter. We have a project canoe to restore! A 14ft Huron was graciously donated by Rob Stevens of  Niagara falls and includes a great set of cradles on a rolling rack as well as a sheet of canvas.

Before Rob acquired the canoe, another person had been slowly restoring the hull so it doesn't seem to require much more work. It has been picked up and is now in Toronto awaiting further transport to Belleville where it will be stored in a barn over the winter courtesy of member Neil Burrell. 

Also, member Tom Connell graciously donated some additional canvassing supplies and tools to the Chapter which include clamps, a come-along, some tacks, tack puller, a clinching iron, etc.
